gas bottle for mig

When i bought my Miller wire feed i set up an account for the bottles. I had the oxy-acetylene and shielding gas. IT only cost me about a 100.00 per year for all three. Then when one was empty i just took it back. Now that I'm moving i took all three back and closed my account.

I don't need to worry about having bottles around if i don't want them. Don't need to try to find bottles, or wndering what condition they are in.

Years ago I bought a life time lease on all 3 of my bottles 2 for torches 1 for mig welder for $1200.00. All I pay for is refills

Actually, CO2 does give more penetration in Short Arc at the expense of spatter. Spray Arc Gas is 90% or more Argon balance CO2. 90/10 92/8 95/5 most common. Some get close like 75/22 with a little Oxygen ( Stargon ) All Pulse Mig and Spray is best with 90% + Argon. 75/25 is just a Clean Low Spatter Short Arc Mix. You can get Close to an Actual Spray but you need higher Argon to make it right. I have been a Rep, Selling High End Welding and Cutting Equipment for 20 yrs. Have fun With it !!!
