What are you expecting the "Sea Foam" to do?
Never used it myself.

I'm not sure if your question is one of genuine curiosity, but I'll answer as if it is.

Since I don't know the history of this tractor, my use of Sea Foam is just an extra step to the full service. Although I will be pulling and cleaning the tank, Sea Foam may or may not help address any buildup in the lines and injectors. Likewise, Sea Foam may or may not help break down engine sludge prior to changing the oil.

Other than that, I've used it as a fuel stabilizer and through vacuum/intake lines on gasoline engines and I feel it does a good job at reducing carbon buildup. YMMV.

I swapped out the glow plugs earlier today and it fired right up. The glow plug indicator lamp still doesn't work, but I haven't had a chance to get into the dash wiring yet.
Excellent!

It appears the glow indicator coil is in series with the glow plugs.

If that hot coil is not getting red hot, neither are the heaters.

Seafoam into an old engine can overwhelm the oil filter with dislodged "crud".

I killed an Audi A8 with that stuff!

Oh yeah I guess I did not read the post with SeaFoam I thought the addition would be in the fuel not the oil. I would NEVER EVER put that in the oil of any engine

It's a parallel circuit, not in series, it is also a light, not the older style heater coil type.
The glow plugs can still work without the light working.

The glow plugs do, indeed, function independently from the indicator. On the G5200, the indicator is a coil rather than a light. I still haven't been "under the dash", but it looks like the part is about $60 if it's actually bad and not just disconnected.

That weird, maybe someone changed mine out, although it was burned pretty good before I got it so who knows whats been done to it.

Do you mean it's like this - if so these can be found on the eBay for about $13 + mailing
