Gage Wheels for Rotary Cutter

Has anyone ever attached any type of gage wheel to their rotary cutter? When mowing slightly uneven terrain the sides of mine tend to dig in a little and leave small ruts that I'm trying to avoid. I know the obvious answer is raise the cutter but this is at my place I only get to once a month so the lower the better for next time. This is mainly an issue in the yard around the house -- it is by no means a well manicured lawn but would like to prevent ruts and tearing up if possible.

This would be for leading corners only as it already has a single trailing wheel.

I'm envisioning some way to almost turn my RC into a finish mower without the need of finish mower quality cut.

Those are still going to allow the cutter to dig into the ground if he is cutting short and going over uneven ground. Here is a pic of a wheel set up, would work ok going straight but if they hit while turning they would tear up the ground. You might find a pair of swivel gauge wheels from a finish mower and mount off the front corners, these would swivel if they touched while turning.

The fronts would need to be caster type too, and wide to take the weight. Otherwise a fixed-straight wheel will just dig in and you won't have fixed anything.
