Hello all!
I'm new to the forum and this is my first post.
A month ago I bought a G5200 off Craigslist from the original owner who had no major issues since new. 1300 hrs. Changed the oil and filter, air filter and both fuel filters before I put into service mowing my acre. Did the lawn about dive times and it find and cuts like a dream. But now I've got a problem. I was moving forward starting up a hill and it felt like I lost traction, so I backed a bit and tried hill at a lower angle and all power from the tranny was gone. No forward or reverse. No whine, no major amounts of fluid anywhere.
Now I have it in he garage torn all to pieces and here is what I've found: my coupling plate is broken into two pieces. My hydro input shaft spins 1/2 - 3/4 rotation freely by hand, and there was some, maybe an ounce of fluid that had dripped down on he deck.
Is it possible I have a broken input shaft ?
