Hi letter says L3AL and L3BL engines had a assembly problem. They are in LS G3033 and G3038 tractors.

If I were you I would get your serial number and call them!

My friend gave me 2 magnetic block heaters!
Where should I put them?
Should I leave them on all the time or a few hours before starting?

One on the oil pan and one on the side of the block. The amount of time it takes to heat will be a learning experience on what your interpretation of warm is. I'd start at 1 hour and see how warm it feels to you.
