Blowing out the valve?? Any more detail? Are you talking about the slide valve? Just curious.

I would next change the hydraulic fluid and put on a new filter to prevent future problems.
We used to use automatic transmission fluid (mercon dextron) in all the yanmars, that's what they use in Japan.
Auto tranny fluid has cleaning agents that help prevent clogging, that's why these 30yr old tractors still have 3 points that work when they use to arrive in the US.

I blew out the port on the 3-pt cylinder housing where the FEL return line connects with a banjo fitting. THe valve set just above the port. Also, I replaced hydraulic fluid and filter about 3 weeks ago.
