David, I lightly read over the Wget page.

To put in basic language, this Wget could fix the JD index page links so they point towards the correct locations on my hard drive ?

Yes, with the command I listed, you would have a local copy of those John Deere manuals with the links pointing to the local files on your drive. The saved directory will be about 29 MB. Give it a try.

Whoa, after reading more, wget is a bit over my head.

I'd be lucky just to get it to run, let alone take it for a spin around the block.

There are some videos on Youtube that show how to bleed fuel systems. Search "bleeding diesel fuel system". They hav one on an old Massey 35 that is really good.
