YM 2000
The hood on my YM2000 has been sitting on the fuel line that attaches to the top of the fuel tank. 6 years of vibrating has worn a hole in the line. Does anyone know what size line? I would like to pick up a replacement on my way home this afternoon. Thanks for the help.

Mine would rub thru also, the fitting that sticks out of tank sit up at a pretty steep angle. I used a heat gun to heat it up and bend it down flatter so it would clear hood. I don't know what size hose it is, but I need some because mine is dry rotted and cracking.

It is probably a metric size but I bet a 5/16 with a clamp will work.

I am not familiar with a 2000 but the ones I have seen all have a couple round 3/8" tall rubber bumpers on the top of the cowling that the hood sits on. If those are not there that may be why its touching the fuel injector return at the tank. hth

if the new line is being rubbed as well, cut a piece of spare line, split it and sleave the new line in the area of the rubbing.. use zip ties to hold it on.
