Fuel line bleeding

I replaced the fuel filter on my FX28D tractor, and now it doesn't want to start. I've don't the fuel bleeding procedure before, but it has been some time ago and I can't remember much about it.
The pic below shows the filter housing with comments on what I did. The bleed valve may be on the
injector pump - just not sure. I know that the FX series has several different fuel valve housing
configurations, including one with just a small lever to open the fuel line. Does anyone have something similar to the one below ?

I am not sure but wondering if maybe your FX28 may have a priming pump similar to this. Fuel Lift Pump fits John Deere 655 755 2320 AM882588 fits Yanmar 129158-52100 | eBay

Also possible you might have to loosen injection lines at injectors if air has entered those lines. Remember those lines are under high pressure.

I have a YM2310 but the valve you have looks similar to the one on my tractor. Anyway, my son changed the filter, bled everything, and couldn't get the thing to start. I went out and looked at it and the valve handle was UP. So I told him it must be down. He insisted it was UP before he changed the fuel filter. Well, I turned the handle so that it was pointing DOWN and the tractor started right up. So maybe your handle also needs to be pointing down. I hope so, it would make for an easy fix. Good luck.

Pull the line coming out of the valve. Loosen the clamp at the word open in the Pic.. Pull the hose and watch for the fuel to pour out of the filter. If it does then turn it off and bleed the lines. Then you know for sure if your getting fuel to the pump and bleed it again also.

Thanks for the responses. I found a small sticker on the lower right side of the fuel tank (obscured with grease and behind the FEL frame) which
details the bleed procedure which is pretty simplistic.

Yes, it does have a primer lever on the feed pump which will turn the pump manually. When the fuel level in the tank is above the filter assembly, fuel will gravity flow down through the pump and up through the filter valve and out to the injector pump. Incidentally, I was able to start the tractor yesterday.
