I have a B2400 and am having a problem replacing the fuel filter. The o-ring located on the housing seems to be too large to accomadate the ID of the fuel filter, thus making installation very difficult. Also is there an easy way to bleed the air out?
Thanks GT

Don't know if the B2400 is similar to my B7500, but when I changd my fuel filter, I mistakenly tried to put the O ring on the top of the filter because that's where it looked like it went.

I finally figured out that the O ring drops into the bowl and rests on a little indentation that circles the inside of the bowl, and the filter is then placed on top of that.

Only took me two days to figure it out.

So...check to make sure that you're putting the O ring in the right place.

Good luck

There are two o-rings in the assembly. One is rather large and seals the plastic bowl to the metal bowl housing. This one is not a problem. The other is much smaller and is installed into an o-ring groove in the bowl housing. The filter element then slides over this oring and seals on the ID of the element. It seems that this o-ring is too fat in cross section thus making the installation very difficult.
Thanks for the response.
