Guys, it won't be simple at all to lay gravel over some of my 300 yard drive, especially considering the way some of it is laid out, and the fact that a truckload has to pass over my home made bridge which may not carry its weight. A front end loader would do the trick but I don’t have one so any and all educated suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

If you are concerned about the bridge, have them deliver only the last one-quarter of each truckload to the far side of the bridge until the highway side is all delivered. Then maybe send in much smaller trucks? You certainly want them to place the material in its final location, in fact this is essential if all you have is a box blade to level it out.

A more important question is do you have any bass in that pond and when can I come over? Seriously though that looks it will be a tough driveway to get in but oh wow what a location! Envy you.

California, yours is a good idea, about delivering 1/4 of each truckload across the bridge and up the hill, if that is even possible. Along with the box I also bought a scoop but I've not found it as user friendly as I expected it to be. Certainly not a front end loader replacement.

phatgemi, come on down and fish to your heart's content. There's bass in the pond, and catfish, and bream. I am not a fisherman but the pond is stocked.

I am now in the process of gathering dandelion seeds so I can plant as much as possible around the flat portions of the property for the wild life…and me of course :) Dandelions are so unjustifiably maligned because they are so healthy for us all! Lawn looks over function strikes again!

The new/used fuel cap, and strainer apear to have solved my fuel tank leaks. I also installed the rear right wheel seal so the hydraulic leak should also be fixed but due to the rain I've not tested the fix yet.

Thanks for all your help guys!

keeping my head turned backward for hours on end did take its toll on the neck/shoulder muscles.
Once you have a ROPS and its seatbelt it is even harder to twist around. I added a mirror and use it continually to see how much I've raised the implement. This avoids many turnarounds. However this one still isn't sufficient for a good view to the rear, since the view is down rather than back, so I still have to twist around to work backward.

I could mount it farther out like a towing mirror, but this tractor is set up for orchard use with everything tucked in as much as possible to reduce snagging the trees.
