Getting ready to winterize my 1610 and need suggestions what brand of fuel additive to add to the diesel to prevent gelling. Also does anyone know what size tank this tractor has and how much additive do I need to add to a tank. Thanks

hard to know what you want to winterize against when we don't know where you are... Generally speaking, you should change filters, fluids, if in cold climes run 15w-40 oil, and for fuel, ensure clean fuel with powerservice mixed in..

more detail on you environment will undoubteldy give you more info. good luck.

Your profile needs to be updated to include your location. You will find that you will get better answers to questions when we know where you are. Your location might/will determine the correct response.

In general, you need to add some Power Service (white bottle) to your diesel fuel, usually 3oz per 5 gallons.

It doesn't matter where you are, "Powerservice", or any other brand of diesel additive on your autoparts store shelf will work just fine:rolleyes: . Figure a 5 gal. tank.
