Nice - looks strong and well made. Always easier to have a pull point ready made than to wish you had one if the tractor is in mud up tp the engine. If your going to have to pull the tractor its always nice I guess not to damage it while you pull it! Tractor on.

I would not do any serious pulling with the front, too much strain on the smaller front axle and even the frame. Really hard pulls will come from the rear using the drawbar, I just need a strong front point if I ever get stuck.

Can't say I have done any serious pulls yet, but I'm betting on being able to pull trees!

Nice Job. It also gives you a nice anchor point for cross chaining if you move it on a trailer. Do the D-rings make much racket when you're working it? I've got several D-rings sitting around but I have yet to make a plate like yours. I've looked for weld on tie downs ( basically a piece of flat stock or round rod bent with a loop in it) but I haven't found any decent ones yet.

I kinda did the same. This unit "sandwiches" the grill guard and the frame,
plus the tube goes back and intersects the frame adding rigdity;

No noise, brushogged the other day and can say i did not notice it at all. I was also debating using mounts for shackles, but went D ring for simplicity/multiple uses.
