Friend having problems with new printer

A friend of mine,
Bought a "Brother" brand printer model 61.
He is able to print text and fax but gets this message when trying to load software package from CD he is getting message "In order to complete installation needs to be logged on as sytem administrator" He needs this software package to print photos etc.

What that is telling me is he has a windows XP or Win2000 machine. The computer will only let administrators load software. The other option you can do is to long on as administrator and give yourself rights as an administrator and then you can load software from where you log on. Just a small technicality for computers to have multiple users and protection rights for each of them.

My friend and I are at work and with your help he thinks he has it figured out.........He thanks you and so do I,he will have to wait until tommorow to configure it,since the computer is at his home. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
