If you go back to the manufacturer don't tell them the whole story. No way they'll pay for repairs. As you've already stated, this is totally your fault.

Bummer for you. Sorry you are having this problem. When you get past it you'll never again do this.

I think Hobart15 may have had a ligit beef...Believe me, I like to pass the buck as much as possible, but if you would have seen how the tractor was positioned as it was being towed out, and how it was towed out, you might feel as I do and say the falut lies with the person who said try and extract it this way. Hard for me to point the finger at LS.

Another reason I choose not to deal with the LS dealers is I have no trailer to move it. So I have to pay $75 a day for a trailer that will haul it, I get it to LS, they ask why do you think it broke, I am not gonna lie, and when they hear the story, if you were a service manager what would you say? ****, if the shoe was reversed I would say it is not a warranty issue either! So now I am out $75 for the trailer, I am a week lost on repairs and I don't trust dealers anyway! So now I get to spend another $75 to get it to my friends New Holland dealership...A person I would trust with my life...

Easy call for me! And as I said earlier, I have been very happy with the tractor and would buy another LS with no hesitation.

Doubt Home Owner policy would cover damage to your machine unless you have it covered under rider. If covered under rider may have it's own lower deductible.

Initial est is $2K, which no one wants to pay, but I felt it could be a lot worse....And If I could do without the use of the tractor for 3 months i would try the repairs myself, just don't have that luxury!

Please, show us a tractor similar to the LS R3039 that stuck and extracted the same way without causing damage, that you'd buy?

You cannot predict what will happen to the tractor when you make your purchasing decision. Things happen, things break, on every tractor.
