I made some homemade fenders out of wood what do u think?

Well they look pretty good, but being that they are wood, will they snap if you run over a boulder, instead of bending like rubber or plastic?

Why would fenders snap when running over a boulder, unless you go over it upside down? Or am I misunderstanding the post. Are the fenders wooden? Or the mudflaps?

He is saying that the mudflap would catch any obstacle that he runs over and catches the flap, which would not bend now being made out of wood. So the energy transfer would flow through to the plastic fender which would flex, but may break if the wood doesn't brake first.

They r mainly for mud so they won't break

My terrain is all rocks and boulders, and when you crawl over them, the mudflaps catch them and bend or flex. Wooden ones would not do that very well. But if he is talking just mud, then it will probably work fine.
