Forum Upgrade - Any Issues?

While in the "members list" my avatar picture is not displayed. Is there something I need to do?

Mine shows up so I cant help.

But....since you brought that up, I noticed and never said anything (maybe someone else did?) but I dont like the really small avatars in the member list.

Honestly, for quite a few regulars here, I dont even look at their name, but recognize the avatars and know exactally who it is.

I know we have talked about the little green arrow that is suppose to be there in threads you reply to. 90% of the time its not there, sometimes it is. Here is a screen shot. You can see threads taht i replied to without the arrrow and one with. I have not figured out why some have it and others do not?View attachment 274904

I was comming here to say i now have red envelopes on my screen with tiny green arrows on the posts i responded too. I got another request, sorry to be picky. Could the green arrow be increased in size. I like to at a glance see threads im active in posting in. The way it is now its not totally obvious without a sharper look. The no icon or the large green arrow showed up much better.

But thanks for working so hard on this. I know im busting your balls on this!

Yeah, I am going to make new icons. I don't like them either but this was today's quick fix. :laughing:

i thought I was having a stroke when the board changed again. whew.. glad to see it was planned!

Has anyone else had problems with the spell checker jumbling up words? I use ieSpell and it will partially overwrite a misspelled word(leaving extra syllables) rather then correcting it.

I was not getting tool bar for forum to work Tool Bar showed, but didn't work when clicked.. specifically the Todays Posts, New Posts.
I turned on Compatibility Mode in IE9. Problem Solved.

Why didnt I think of that ? Solved my issues too. Thanks for the heads-up kg7il :thumbsup:

At first, the new forum style was not appealing. However, I have gotten used to it and have learned to live with it. It works fine. I reckon things cannot stay the same forever. Tractor on!!

There is difference between your "avatar" and profile picture.

Go to My Home; then under My Settings on the left select "Edit Profile Picture"

Thanks for looking Kennyd. I removed my profile picture but the members avatar picture did not show up. I even tried logging out but that was not helpful either.

Is there any possible way to detect SPAM before it becomes an actual post? I have reported 6 posts just within the last 20 minutes in regards to Spam. The posts are in the New Member forum and appear to be on an International scale. There have been a definite increase in Spam for the last several days.
