Ford 841 Carb Help Needed

I've ordered a parts kit from a dealer, but need step by step instructions for rebuilding the carb on my 1959 Ford 841.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

Well, a couple of things come to mind,

When you ordered your parts did you by any chance happen to ask in the service department if the had a service manual for your tractor (either hard copy or online) that they could copy the relevent pages for you? Really, all you really need is the float setting, mixture screws can start out 1 turn from full bottom, and adjusted from there.

did your carb kit not come with a lil half sheet of paper folde dup as a diagram?

in any case..i'd reccomend seperatingthe halves, removing air horn and float, especially if plastic.. then give a soak in a cleaner / dip pan.. then pull out.. blow out all passageways with air, and clean the rest with fine wire. guitar hi-e string works great if you know somebody that plays.

depending on the level of your kit, it may or may not come with new needles.

usually comes with throttle shaft seals, and choke packing.. etc..

if you remve any seats to repalce.. i'd reccomend a hollow ground screwdriver vs a spade tip.. though usually a spade tip will work...
