I have a Ford 800, and there is hydraulic oil coming from the streering box around the right side or front side where the lines screw in. Where could it be coming form any ideas?:confused:

Does it have power steering?

Yes has steering, matter of it has great steering. Could a plugged power steering filter cause my problem?

I suppose a clogged filter may have caused the leak, and if so you'll have to replace the filter and address the leak itself which might be due to seal failure in the control valve. There are two seals, upper and lower. The metal hoses from the pump to the valve and the valve to the cylinders will also leak if they get loose.

You can usually tell where the leak is coming from. How much is leaking and where exactly is it coming from?
