Th guy wants 10 grand for it but it better be in excellant shape I think. Havenet see pictures of it yet but they are on the way.

We can't touch that tractor in decent shape around here for $5-$8K. That kind of money MIGHT get you an older Ford 4000.

At most of the used places.. older 7810 and 7610 with a couple thousand hours on them go in th 9k$ range. A ford 4000 with loader can be picked up for 6500 in good shape.. ford 3000 w/ loader for 4k$
Must just be regional differences.

You can go to http://www.equipmenttraderonline.com/adsearch.html and do a keyword ad search using 5610, and get a nationwide listing of the 5610s that are listed with the Heavy Equipment Trader magazines.
Thanks for the link. It only came up with 3. The link I like to use for a search is

It comes up with about 25 and they are priced pretty high. cheapest one I think is 11k and some of them look like crap. If someone finds me some of these tractors for 8k I will go get them if there any good.

There's a 5610 on ebay with a full cab for 15000. It has a boom mower. It's in CT. I think I remember seeing a bunch of ford 5610's on ebay from Florida. They were using to clear brush, they were beat though. I think they had boom mowers on them.

That boom mower really drives up the price. And use.. many countie public works dept. have use dthe 5610, 6610, and 7610 units as mowers.
A used dealer down here just picked up a wad of 7610 and 6610.. some with boom mowers.. etc.. as county surplus sales. Each unit had about 2000 hours on it.. and was rough looking.. but county maintained, and had repairs done before sale.
Looking at a central fl used dealer.. they have a ford 7000 for 6999, a late model 7610s, 4wd for 12999, a MF 396 with full cab and ac for 15999.. and just sold a couple 6610.. one with mower for 12k.. also sold a 7810 for 8999.

Thanks for the link Ken, that had a few on it. only 4 or 5 within 500 miles of me. none within 200 miles there was one in PA for 12,900 that was about the same as this one as far as hours and shape.
From what I see, Most of these 5610's that are in decent shape go for at least 10k. The state owned ones that mow roadside usually look pretty rough from what I have seen.
I still havent got photo's yet but will let you see them when i get them. I wish it was priced at 8k or so. He wont budge I dont beleive. 10k probabbly isnt overpriced but no great deal either considering no cab and no loader. I cant believe there are not many at all up in my neck of the woods in Maine. Well Im off to e-bay to see whats on there.

The 7610 looks larger to me.. though I didn't 'measure' it.
