FORD 3000 HYDRAULIC LIFT PROBLEM

I have a Ford 3000 tractor, built in 1968, 7600 hrs. I just overhauled hydraulic lift cylinder; changed cylinder piston seal and backup ring, and most O-rings. The lift does not stay up; have a mower attached. I cannot regulate the height of mower.

did you replace the cam follower pin and then adjust the lift?

are you in position control or draft mode?
