Folks, I am in need of a left front wheel for my Ford 1900 tractor. I have welded the one I have several times with some success, but now it seems that none of my welds are holding up to the demands. I welded large thick washers over the existing holes but that won't last for long. Does anyone out there have a good one for sale or know of one for sale. I have searched the internet and everytime I get sent back to some off the wall parts advertizing page of one type of another.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hog,

I don't have a wheel but you might specify it your 1900 is 4WD OR 2WD.

I'm sure a dealer would be able to get one but it would be $$$. I've been surprised that my dealer can get parts for my 1910.

Posting the tire size of the rim and the number of bolt holes along with any other information you might have on it might net you a rim from an unlikely source. A friend found a front rim for his tractor by looking at rear rims on compact tractors. Seems his front fwa rim was the same size as a rear rim on a compact tractor. Might also work in reverse....

Just get a proper welder working on the project the project.:D

yeah.. I agree... No reason the welds shouldn't hold if done right... I've done the weld a washer on trick on my rims with 100% good results.

have also welde dup holes and redrilled them, and welded in patched from one donor rim to another... neary a problem. All my welded or brazed rims are still running on tractors that I own..
