I just bought a 1715 with 600 hrs . The tractor has a non live PTO that does not work. When the PTO is engaged it spins but very slowly at any RPMs if I put pressure on the PTO like my foot it stops spinning . I'm thinking the shaft has been snapped . Any thoughts out there. Thanks in advance.

I had an issue like that when I bought my 1710. The PTO did not engage right. The dealer said from sitting, the clutch on the PTO was semi-locked up. The tractor shifted fine though, since it is a two stage clutch. Im not sure if the 1715 has the same kind of setup.
