kinda like my dealer... 45 miles from my house. with traffic that puts it at over an hour away since I have to drive thru 2.5 cities to get to him..

G'day we always use and recommend to all our customers to use 80w90 in front diff and final drives, we use this as most our customers do alot of heavy 4wd/loader work and we find the ep rating does give longer life to these components, we also change final drive oils at every engine oil change (250 hrs) as there is no where for the contaminants to sump to and they are constantly getting agitated as you drive and after all it is only a couple more litres.

got to watch fords and nh's.. many final drives i the rear are also the hyds sump.. no 80w90 in the hyds.. utf in the common sumps only

G'day i totally agree with you Soundguy i was referring to the front axle and front final drives as was stated in the title sorry if i did not make myself clear
