flatbed dump w/gooseneck

Does anyone have any experience adding a dump hoist kit to a 1 ton flatbed pickup that has a gooseneck hookup? I would like to here about and maybe see some pictures.

I know a guy who added a gooseneck to a flat/dump, cut a hole in the middle of the bed, added a flap door, welded the hitch to the frame of the truck (I think he did) and he was good to go. If he didn't weld it to the truck frame, I wouldn't want to be around when the trailer and bed broke loose (dump bed with 3-4 points of contact to the truck). I have two flat/dumps and really don't have a desire to cut holes in the beds for bulky material to sift thru. I would like to have a gooseneck trailer but will settle for bumper pull trailers for now.
It shouldn't be too difficult to add a gooseneck hitch to a flat/dump, seems like you would have to jack the trailer up an extra 4"-6" to clear the bed, then drop it on the ball hitch.

Likely the piston and hoist will get in the way due to the placement if you try to attach it to the frame, I am trying to work around the same problem as I bought a 1 ton truck with a flatbed and will be adding a hoist I purchased to it. I do know a guy who has a F-550 with a gooseneck hook up and I think his flatbed dumps. I am going to try to get in touch with him and look at it. If I do I will take some pictures.

If you were to attach the hitch to the bed I would strengthen the mounting points on the bed. I would also fabricate some type of lock down to prevent the bed from tilting during towing.
