First breakage on BX

The orientation got me a little fooled up but are these photo's of the park brake side or the HST pedal side?

Thanks Scooby... yeah the first of the two in line fuel filters was pretty dirty and I forgot about the valve I wanted to put in in front of the first filter. Dang it. The racer bowl filter I think is a good Idea. Did you leave in the first filter when you installed the Racor. I would presume you wouldn't need or even want it since it a pain to replace.

Also replaced the air filter which was much dirtier than I thought. I guess I was in a lot of dust the last a couple months.

Now if I can just figure out this dang parking brake problem. :confused3:

Nope. Ditch the first filter. You dont need it and it will just give you problems later. I kept the second filter before the inj. pump as a last chance filter in case dirt or debris gets in the fuel system after the Racor but before the inj pump. like when changing the racor or if the lift pump has a catastrophic failure.

Okay an update on the parking brake issue. Either the main brake pedal tube or the ratchet for the parking brake to grab the tab is way out of position. Nothing seems bent but they are now about 2in from each other. After laying on my back staring and playing with the mechanisms for way too long and getting mad, I went down to my local dealer. Great guys. They let me borrow their little trailer (I had to remove my BH) and I brought down to them to look at. Real frustrating that I couldn't just deal with it myself but I have plenty else to do (like document this stupid episode here :laughing

Anyways, they got a real kick out my machine with the addition of wheel spacers, LED lights, skidplates, and especially the Piranha Tooth Bar! Should know something early next week. I figured since it is under warranty and I have Kubota Insurance, I might as well take it in.
