I have been lurking for some time and just now got around to signing up.
If I had found this site before I bought my tractor, I may not have done it - with all the concern with rebuilds. I have found places of overspray that would indicate that it had a cosmetic job done sometime in it's life.
It's a 1610d with 5' brushog and 24" scoop that I got for $3200 from a small town mechanic that said he got it from a coustmer that had over heated it. Rebuilt the head and some other items.
I have been very lucky that I have not had any problems with the machine doing some mowing, dirt moving (need to get a loader), log draging from road building and house site clearing, and pulling Yopon trees up by the root.
Reading the stuf on this site has cured some minor issues and saved me big problems in advance.
I'm really impressed with the wealth of knowledge of the forum members and especialy their willingness to share with others.
In the future as I learn more and gain experience I will contribute what I can.
