You know, that's a good idea IslandTractor. I never thought about that. Those would come in really handy.

My father has an Arc Welder, I bet I could get some welded on.
All though it would be easier to have them put on before delivery.
Now, you got me thinking...
I will have to call my dealer this morning and see if we can add those.

Hodak,
Yes this will be a very long weekend /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
But, I will survive. I have 2 remote car starter installs. This is the last winter I go without one.

Thanks everyone for the compliments and comments/suggestions. Stand by for pics and videos Monday night. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I put my hooks on the outer edge, their just doesn't seem to be a lot of strength across the top of the bucket.

Looks good RedRocker,

I called this morning and talked to Dick (owner) and he said he would add the hooks before delivery. I trust he will put them where he feels is the best spot, I did not specify where to put them.

Thanks for the suggestion,

I've seen a variety of hook configurations. I have three with the middle one reinforced by a 3'x10 inch plate. As RedRocker points out, the geometry dictates that is a weak point in any bucket.

If you don't get one now, you'll probably be happy to add a toothbar to that bucket for much better digging and loading of shrubs/vines/straw etc. It certainly was one of the best additions I have made to my cK20. Congratulations on your purchase.

Yeah, that has really made the wait shorter. I can't beleive the pictures they posted. This has definitely been the best experience with any kind of dealership I have every had.

The tractor came today at 3:30pm. I have a bunch of pics but instead of wasting bandwidth here, I made a website with them. Check it out here.

The tractor came showroom clean with a full tank of gas and ready to go. They did go right ahead and put two hooks on the front bucket for no charge which was pretty incredible. It has a whopping 1.3 hours on it. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I didn't get to play with it much since we had to go Trick-or-Treating, but everyday after work and every weekend will be spent on that tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
The heater core in the cab works awesome and even with the cab on, it's very easy to see around and you don't even notice it at all.

I can not recommend Batchelder Sales, Inc. enough, they have been great and very easy to work with. They have gone above and beyond what any dealership was willing to do. Trust me, I went to a lot of dealerships.

Here are a couple of videos. The first is the delivery of the tractor and the second is Me and the little guy trying her out.

Is that second video the right one? It shows the delivery guy off loading from the trailer. In that video I noticed he didn't use the clutch to shift into lo range when starting to move it. Do you not need to use the clutch when changing ranges?

I assume the fact that it is a Hydro-static Transmission means you do not have to clutch to shift from high to low. Hopefully, because I have done it a few times already while going from travel speed to work speed.
I always come to a complete stop and make sure the HST pedal is centered and not engaged.

The manual states to use the clutch when changing the low/high range selector, but it CAN be done without clutching. One thing though, if you're moving, you'll usually get some grinding as this action is not synchronized. It's best to clutch it just to be sure of no damage.
