Actually I'm a mechanical guy I purchased all my electronics, stepper motors, controllers, and breakout boards off the shell. I just had to wire them up. But here's a couple of links for CNC stuff.

My next project might be a backhoe. But I don't think it would be very usefull on the little tractor I have at the moment. My wife wants a swiming pool.

I wouldn't discount the usefulness of a backhoe on a small tractor. The handyest implement I've ever owned was a backhoe for an 8N. It wouldn't dig an olympic pool in a day, but it DID dig a 1/4 acre pond in a week in some of the rockyest soil you'll ever meet. Extra bonus, it was light enough to shove around the shop on a little dolly when I had other uses for the tail end of the tractor.
