The below picture is the reason not to make sharp turns while dragging a full box blade.
I broke the sway bar connector bolt bracket.

It's not just box blades, any ground engaging implement needs to come up before turning tightly. on the whole, at 50 bucks you got off cheap. could have hurt more expensive stuff.

But, don't feel bad, you're in good company.

Don't take this wrong but I don't know how to word this any other way. Why do you have the sway bar locked in the first place.

The sway bars are locked to the 3point so they won't sway into the rear wheels. The rippers were up and the box blade was set so just the second blade would smooth out the ground but I still caught too much sand (and or a root) and the turn shaped the bolt/bracket.

TxDON, that mig will do fine if it's a 22o machine but if you got a little 12o:thumbdown: like my Hobart you better get it sticked.
