The plumbing is completed, I added adjustable in-line flow restricters because the plow was moving way to fast at full throttle.

Nice job Kenney. If you were closer we would let you try it out on our drive (once we get more snow that is).

What did you use to cut all that steel, a chopsaw?

Thank again Mike,
A chopsaw did most of the cutting, And a Miller 375 plasma cutter also did some.

If I get to Ohio, I will look you up for sure! /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

hi kenny, great project. please give me some info on the adjustable in-line flow restricters that you used. where to buy them? price? my jd74 front blade also angles way to fast at any engine speed above an idle. i'm also in md wondering if it will ever snow so i can try it out. thanks in advance. bud

Ken
Nice setup. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Just one note: The flow controls look like ones designed for pneumatic (air) systems. They may work OK. But brass will not hold up to the loads that hydraulics put out.

hi mike, thanks for answering my question but when i hit your "click here" all i get is some sort of microsoft error. can you be more specific? thanks bud

Just a suggestion.Weld a pivot bracket on the top of the plow and the mounting bracket. Then run a bar between the two that you can drop pins into. This will lock it rigid and you can use as a grader blade

Thanks Ron,
I was not aware of that, I am very new to hydraulics, I bought these on EBAY for $5.00 Each, they were listed for use with hydraulics so I bought them.
I will get some steel ones from the surplus center next time I place an order, But these will work for now!

Good Idea Tevi, I had not thought of that. For now I can just use the bucket though...
