Several months ago there was a post concerning FEL quick release lever not staying in the released position. In a reply it was mentioned that the lever needed to be pushed far enough so it would stay. I also had the same problem on my DK40, the lever could not be mover far enough to stay. I noticed that the links would bind on the rocker arms keeping everything from moving far enough. Cutting notches in the links solved the problem.

Nice pics. Good update! Looks like some of the hitches must have more weld on the ends then others. Good way to fix and not a high pressure piece anyway.

Bob, that beats my "drill a hole in the top of the handle and hook a bungee cord to it" fix...but hey it works:laughing:

I've been using a bungee cord, but I'll take a closer look and see if this approach might be a permanent fix for me, too.
