I just got my 1510D back from getting the loader installed (Koyker 110) and I don't think the dealer mounted it correctly. When I put it all the way down, it is about 2-4 inches above the ground. I have to pivot the bucket downward to get it to touch the ground. Also when I bought the loader from him a couple weeks ago he said that everything worked great, but the ccontrol lever sticks pretty bad. My question to you guys is what if any liabitlity does the dealer have to make it right? I run a used car lot, and if I sold something and misrepresented it such as he has I would have to make it right, or buy the vehicle back by Kansas law, he is also in KS. Any suggestions on how to handle this will be greatly appriciated.

You should be able to lift the front of the tractor with the loader when the bucket is horizontal. I'd ask him to fix it before getting aggressive about his liability.

joystick or two lever control? Likely rusted. The 110 was discontinued perhaps a year ago, so he's got old stock, making it likely the valve body is old too. If two lever, two horizontal allen head screws where rubber boot meets valve body. Remove. In the now visible assembly are two connections/linkages with pins...these pins rust, causing the levers to hang up. Use a punch to drive the pins out, clean them up, grease them, replace, and fill the boot with grease to prevent further rusting. If that doesn't do it (and it always has), ask dealer to replace valve.

Never put one on a 1510, but all other apps the bucket, when flat, should rest on ground and still provide about 2-3" of lift.

I don't have the 4wd, but my Koyker 110 lowers just fine and lifts the front of my 1510 on level ground.

I don't know dink about Koykers or yanmars but if the FEL will not go flat to the ground in level position it is just about usless for moving loose dirt or gravel or even horse poop. Me thinks the dealer wrong.

I have a 1510 with a Japenese loader. Had some issues with it at first, but now that all is well I am happy. I can dig about 1 foot down with mine. It wouldn't do me any good if it not only wouldn't lower to the ground but couldn't lift the tractor. I have found it convenient for popping small trees up by the roots. That dealer did something wrong and doesn't want to fix it for you.

I agree completely!!! I have YM1700 with a Great Bend loader I installed myself. With the bucket flat it will lift the front fires about a foot off the ground.

I think I would be looking the installing dealer straight in the eye and tell him to fix it.

After installing a few loaders it becomes necessary to make a few adjustments during the initial setup.

It sounds as though your dealer-installer has the front loader arms attached too low on the bucket. This allows for maximum lift but insufficient down pressure and bucket height is not low enough. I can think of only two options to make your FEL work normally: Cut off and reposition the front loader arm mounts at the bucket, or remove 3" from the vertical towers. Both require cutting and welding....not too complicated if your equipped to make the changes.

I think if you present a solution to your installer, he may not like it but have no room for an argument and should make the repairs.

If you could supply us with a few pictures of the loader at it's lowest and highest points it might show us if there is another alternative. Good luck.
