I am thinking about getting a FEL for my 3830. I won't use it a lot, and do not have any specific jobs for it other than the normal odds jobs that comes with owning 20 acres.

So what is the scoop, how does Kubota FEL compare to the "off brands". Is there any real savings on a "off brand"? Do they work as well and built as strong? Any advantages or disadvantages?

Thanks

Bartley,

I'd say the Kubota loaders are the way to go for your 3830. I would avoid an "off brand" if I were you. Woods is a good choice too. I don't think the larger Kubota 7 series loader is too much more than the 5 series. Personally, I'd go 7. You will find more uses than you originally thought on 20 acres. I'm certain you will keep it busy and wonder how you ever did without it. A loader will effectively double the usefulness of the machine. I think you'll find your traction is greatly improved as well. -Resale will likely be a consideration at some point in the future.
