FEL connection hoses- marking them?

I've never removed mine. They have colored caps that are still there, but I'm not sure the colors are still on the lines if I remove them.

Think the simplest would be to resort to numbers. This is what I did with the electrical connections when I moved my rear lights to inside of the rollover bars.

Matched-color dust covers on both M/F sides of the quick-connects is a handy and easy way to always get your connections right.

Ditto. Keeps crud out of the connectors, and easily identifies which goes where.

That is something that had not occured to me but I am sure you are right as the eyes get older the punch marks will get smaller.

Yes, the older eyes may not see as well but the marks stay where they were put.

Coloured markers and caps definitely are more easily seen and one may even be able to find them out in woods after spending time working there.
