I used to never think about this since my FEL connections were color-coded for propoer reconnection. This time around I noticed that color markings were no longer there in most places. I marked them with duct tape but it didn't last. Do you folks bother to keep them marked? If so, what method do you use?
Thanks!

Spray paint each a different color.

Matched-color dust covers on both M/F sides of the quick-connects is a handy and easy way to always get your connections right.

That is the way most of mine are...and I also use different colored cable ties also for identification.

I seldom unplug mine but a wrap of coloured electrical tape (red, blue, green, white) works for me.

I use colored ty-raps / Wire ties/ Zip ties . What ever you want to call them. They come in all different colors and stay on with no problems.

Hi everyone:

If I used ordinary duct tape on a hydraulic hose I would be sure it doesn't hide any damage or interfere with my ability to inspect them for damage.

If you have colored dust caps take note of their pairing before you disconnect them. Write a key like this in your manual:

TR-LR (Tractor Red - Loader Red).
TBL-LBK (Tractor Blue - Loader Black).

If your setup is color-for-color great, but do not automatically expect them to match by color.

Or you could fix the dust caps so they match.

Use a center punch on both sides with a different number of dots for each hose. They don't fade.:D

Is this for your B2410? We got a set of caps this fall for the B7510 as the original black rubber ones were leaking and the zip ties I had installed were getting hard to distinguish the colors on. We got ones intended for a BX2660 (the whole plug/cap is colored and they come in all 4 colors) and they worked perfectly.
Messicks has them for $3.75 each, PNs are:
Tractor side:
CAP DUST 7J245-66410 $3.75 - Blue
CAP DUST 7J245-66420 $3.75 - Yellow
CAP DUST 7J245-66430 $3.75 - Red
CAP DUST 7J245-66440 $3.75 - White
Loader Side:
PLUG DUST 7J245-66310 $3.75 - Blue
PLUG DUST 7J245-66320 $3.75 - Yellow
PLUG DUST 7J245-66330 $3.75 - Red
PLUG DUST 7J245-66340 $3.75 - White
