Favorite summer drink?

I am not usually up for mixed beer stuff, but Guiness float is good.

Placerville Brewing, just down the road from me, does a seasonal Pumpkin Ale; it is good mixed with thier Vanilla Stout; they cal it a "Pumpkin Pie".

Generally, I like beer, or water in the summer. A nice pale ale, or just plain water.

Glad to see the beer guys being creative. When I bicycled through Ireland many summers ago a favorite drink of the locals at lunch was half and half Guiness and cream. I thought it sounded pretty revolting but it wasn't half bad. Kind of like an unsweetened float.

Never could see wasting good liquer by deluting it. Guess that's why I'm an alcoholic. Of course, it could be that once I start, I don't want to stop.:laughing:

After a putter in the yard or around the farm it's Gatorade in a large thermal cup with lots of ice ...or water... same cup w/ ice...either one will put out the fire.

Good for you, Cyril. When I was in the US Navy, I had a buddy who was an alcoholic. He liked going out to clubs, but he was always tempted to drink. I started going to clubs with him and we would drink only club soda or I would drink tonic water. Having me there kept him from being tempted by the booze and I always was lucky enough to be able to take it or leave it. Even with no booze, we still managed to do some crazy stuff.:laughing:

I started going to clubs with him and we would drink only club soda or I would drink tonic water.
