New member. Grew up on Simplicity 2010, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, learned to row cultivate on a Case, probably SE. Today I grow over 750 apple varieties on a upick farm, Skipley Farm, in Snohomish. I started the 7 acre horse gone fruit farm in 2008 with A Kybota 7500DTN, 50 hrs, 6K from a dealer, got 3 point stuff brush hog, post hole, maschio 120 tiller, Ford 1 bottom 16", subsoiler, went to town, planted ~4 of 8 acres. You pick pays the mortgage.have 4 Kubotas> M8540PowerKrawler, B7500DTN(narrow), B6200w/FEL, B7100 HST/turf tires, JD670-a favorite but many parts rusted due to seaside life, JD 4430, about 1981, '58 Massey Ferguson TO35, Farmall Cub with basket weeder. Most work is mowing with my JD X580 52" deck. More recent purchase is my PT270 Steiger for a new 30 acre orchard development site. Now I got the 4430 and 2 steigers at the time from a farmer going out of business

Welcome aboard!

From a small time apple grower a few hundred miles south of you.

A contractor does a lot of the work here, and harvests 70 tons + or -.

I only have two tractors. 40 year old Yanmars. Backhoe out stumps, maintain the unpaved lane out to the county road, tow a watering trailer for new plantings. Mow the non commercial portion. Etc.

Basically a retirement hobby farm. I love it.

750 varieties of apples there?
