Funny, everyone likes the I-Match implement quick couplers... did you ever think about the hydraulic couplers saving you time.

Faster Inc. has this cool system where you can couple...say, all four of your loader hoses in the time it takes to couple one hose. Sizes from 1/4" hose to 1 1/2" /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif hose. That's cool! /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

The manufacturers are always trying to make operators more efficient, this seems like a natural, no brainer to come from the factory. Might be prohibitively expensive to retrofit to existing equipment though. One can dream though.

Very nice stuff. I like the models that allow you to connect them under full operating pressure. Nice feature for those who forget to bleed down the pressure when you remove the FEL or BH. Might be a nice project to replace the ones that you use all the time. I know it has me thinking on the FEL.

Scrounger,
Isn't that a great idea? This type of stuff ought to come from the factory on these $20K tractors. Like I said, retrofitting might be expensive, but what's your time worth? See my point? I could really see this used for a skid steer loader where everything on every attachment is hydraulic powered.

Retrofitting the Multifaster is a common practice. Its a breeze if you’re handy with a welder and a little creative in designing a mounting bracket for your tractor.
These units are standard and/or optional equipment on many of the larger manufactured loaders.
IMO they’re truly needed on the compact machines were versatility and efficiency is imperative.

Faster's web site http://www.fasterinc.com/news-apps.htm has a few pictures of agriculture loaders equipped with the Multifaster. They appear to be mounted on a New Holland and Deere.

Wouldn’t it be great to have one on a compact tractor? /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
