The LOCK & the SWIVEL are the MOST IMPORTANT parts..
My co worker came home to find his gate TOTALLY GONE.. They cut the lock & lifted the gate OFF the post../swivel..
In this day & age of cordless tools, its hard to keep your stuff safe..
He ended up welding a BOX w/ access to the padlock from underneath & did a similar job w/ the swivel joints..
ONLY PROBLEM WAS>> BEES made a nest in the padlock box.. OUCH..

That is why they started putting mirrors on sticks --- so you can look into hard to see places before you reach in with your hand or face.

Here's some the we have in use. The locks are covered to help keep rain out of them and freezing. The print is some we're about to have built for us.
