Fail vs RFM

I have a b7500 Kubota - 21 hp. I'd like to pull a rear mount 72" grass cutting attachment. I've had a local dealer recommend a 72" flail mower. My question is my tractor big enough to pull a 72" mower? The recommendation from the dealer is to go with a flail mower because it's closer to the back end of the tractor and will not cause the front end to lift up. Dealer says the tractor should have enough horse power for it as long as I'm cutting at 4". I could put the front loader on for weight, but I wonder if a 72" unit is doable. My first choice is of course a larger tractor, but the boss won't agree. I am mowing about 6 acres of pasture.

Anyone with experience pulling a 72" rear mount mower with a b7500 kubota?

I guess that I would not put that on my 27hp tractor, would stick to a 60 inch. Weight of the unit would not be a consideration since I have a fel on. Just to much area for the hp.

A 72” RFM would be a little heavy for a 7500. It may require more horsepower than a B7500 has.
A 72” Flail mower will be lighter and will require less horsepower to run.
If you need a 72” mower the Flail may be the best choice for your size tractor.

If the local dealer recommends the 72" flail tell him
to bring one OUT and let u DEMO it.
My local Deere and NH dealers both let me demo about anything I
want.

Sorry but you don't have the horses to spin 6 ft of anything. Your tractor could handle a tow behind sickle bar mower that size.
