Best 2 items to have when operating any machinery, don't take long to have a bad experience, so when doing any thing questionable stop and think WHAT IF? always play it safe.

I went to sears and bought a small plastic 4-dollar toolbox and mounted it on the right fender of my Kubota L3400. Inside I keep a 2 pound drilling hammer (to persuede the lift arms to go on the lift pins - have not purchased Pat's easy change yet). I also have in this box a 10 inch crescent wrench just in case. Along with an extra top link pin, lynch pins, hairclip pins, a 1/2 inch clevise, a bandana and a Little Debbie snack cake.

One thing more.......a TSC or other farming catalog so that you can cut out the pictures of all the toys you want and paste them on the calendar, you know for your birthday, Christmas, Fathers day, shoot make up a few holidays, just so that someone sees them and gets the HINT!

of course if this fails to produce the items, you can always just go get what you wanted anyway

I believe it was around Christmas time, the commercial for Sears. Talking about subtle hints.... The guy in the commercial was wearing a white t-shirt that said "I LOVE CAMCORDERS" around the house. I never laughed so hard in my life. We could bring that idea into our Tractor realm. We could all get t-shirts like "I LOVE BRUSH HOGS" or "I LOVE BOX BLADES" Maybe our better halves will get the idea and buy us brush hogs and box blades for Christmas.
