Expecting some rain this weekend

Just drug the road while it had some moisture in it... rain has stopped. Not sure we will see any more here.

Well, Hillary turned out to be mostly a bust here. Total rain was 2.5 in. 1in. less than predicted. It was 36 hrs of slow gentle rain which resulted in no flooding.

Winds never exceeded 15 MPH with just an occasional gust which is pretty much normal for the desert.

That not to say my roads won’t need significant regrading, after all, dirt roads are dirt roads.

My property is in the rain shadow of a 11,000’ mountain to my west. It seems that it diverts the weather around me. It will be having heavy storm to the north, south and east of me and I get nothing. I guess that’s a good thing.

Best outcome I could hope for.
