Exhaust stack on B3030 with cab

I'm thinking of making an exhaust stack on my newly purchased used b3030.
Even though I have a cab I still smell diesel exhaust in the cab plus it blows out all over the loader and blackens it.
What is the downfall to having the exhaust going back under the oil filter and up along the cab, as shown in pictures.
The top of the stack can mount to the mirror frame.
My concern is will it get too hot to mount so close to the cab frame one inch clearance.
and that the exhaust might get sucked into the ac filter in the rear of the cab below the roof. Anybody see anything really wrong with this idea that I'm not seeing.
I think i'm going to try and make something up , the worse that can happen is I would have to buy another exhaust pipe from Kubota since I will have to cut this one and have it curve the other way.

I think you will have to put a flip cap on the top side or rain will run down into the engine?
Depending on clearance you might even reverse the direction and run it under the tractor to the rear of the cab?
If you go for a pipe up the side then I would try to go with stainless steel, won't rust.

Other than rust, which is only a cosmetic issue, you want to make sure that clearance allows for heat buildup with prolonged use. Also you want to be far enough above the cab to eliminate any exhaust fumes. And you'll need a rain cap. Post pics of the finished exhaust.

This is what I have done so far I got 10 feet of 1 inch plastic pipe outside dia is almost 1.5 and formed it with my heat gun . Now I will bring the sample to a muffler shop with a pipe bender. The steel pipe size will be 1.5 od Of course it won't be white also I will put a chrome or stainless perforated guard going up along the window paint the pipe high heat black.
One problem is I can't have it go more then one inch past the roof or it won't fit in my garage. Does anyone know of a flexable top that won't burn? I can stick it on when using the tractor and if I forget when I bring it into the garage it won't cause damage.
The pipe will follow the cab windshield the top is off because it is not attached

I don't think heat will be a problem for the cab or paint. There is a lot of cooling along the exhaust before it gets near cab. Paint the exhaust with black header paint and it should help with rusting. You could also wrap exhaust pipe tape near parts next to potential problem areas. Most larger ag tractors have the exhaust pipe near the pillar of the cab. Doesn't block vision in that location.

What about the exhaust pipe getting caught on branches or other low hanging objects, is this a concern?

Great idea on useing pvc to mock up the exhaust.

You'll need a rain flipper and I would recommend some sort of shielding near where a stray hand might grab or rub up against it.
You'll also probably get soot on the top of the cab, but it shouldn't be as noticable.

I wouldn't use an exhaust flap/flipper on top. If you have the tip made, just have them bend/angle the top and then cut the end vertical. Take a look at pictures of JD CUTs with vertical exhaust to see what I mean. Even if a little rain gets in the top it won't matter. Most newer tractors, CUT or Ag, no longer use a flapper at the top.

Well it took some doing but its on the B3030 works well and sounds really good. And it blows high up into the air, no diesel smells around the tractor.
Bringing the sample pipe to the exhaust shop did not work out quite as I expected I still had to cut weld and bend the pipe even after it was made. You really have to make the pipe as you go, I also installed a short flex pipe since the cab is rubber mounted and moves. I took allot of extra time making sure there was no stress on the pipe when mounting it all lines up very well i used only three mounting brackets and only had to drill one hole at the edge of the cab, I used the top hole in the mirror braket and one of the bolt holes of the FEL

Great job on the exhaust. Where did you get the vibration isolator?

Thanks Guys, ...You can get the vibration isolator at any Auto parts store it works very well. If I had to do it again I would forget the 3 bolt exhaust flange and just weld the isolator to the pipe, the isolator does not come with the flange. I thought it would be nice to be able to take the pipe apart but it's not needed and justs adds bulk , the pipe as one whole piece goes on and off the tractor very easy.
