I still think you need to manufacture a backhoe ripper tooth. I still see folks looking and with little success.

It could be something we explore in the future. This Hardox 450 would be the perfect material for it!

I find it interesting that there is no PPE worn at all. I take it NC industrial rules don't require safety glasses, hard hats, etc, like is required up this way. Especially in any shop with overhead cranes, hard hats are mandatory. OSHA requirement, I believe OSHA regs apply but again, not sure.

Nice shop, nice equipment too. Looks clean to me for a metal working shop.

Well they must not be having lost time accidents or his insurance company would be making requirements and OSHA would be investigating.

Don't know, why I commented. Under Federal OSHA regs, anytime an overhead crane is in the bay over a worker(s), a hard hat must be worn. That is Federal. He stated they weren't in production anyway so that could be the key.
