Is there anyone else here from British Columbia, Canada ?

I'm curious to find out what the process is to get an E A implement priced, shipped, taxed, dutied, bussed (?) etc. to me here in the Shuswap / Salmon Arm. Probably looking at a 55" Wicked Grapple for a Kubota BX23S, but not needed till Spring 2019 next year.

I have no idea what the pricing is, but those units impress me. Any perspective is appreciated, as I'm new to this (tractor purchase pending). A quote (total) would help me out.

Thinking that I should get on the list by November

thanks

The problem is the entry angle. I want to back it on sometimes depending on what I am hauling with me I may drop an implement up front and retrieve another implement and drive forward up ramp. and a few other scenarios mainly dealing with trailer balancing.

I found a deal on a gooseneck that I have been wanting but the ramp set up, although they are substantial for the weight, are not long enough to prevent dragging even the shortest of implements.

My rear deck height is 30" and I have 5' ramps. So I am going to figure out what my entry angle is so that I can find what length I need to make my new ramps without it dragging the ramp (back loading) or the ground (front loading) if I am travelling up the ramp.

I have a similar issue with my trailer, I actually have a few issues with the trailer. Mine is a 20ft deck over with 3ft dove tail, my gates aren’t that long and the climb up is steep. I have yet to haul my tractor with it but fear I may run into this issue.

I also have an issue of the rear of the tow vehicle, being lifted while loading the trailer, my buddies 2500 HD has been pushed on multiple occasions while loading things.

This is a new to me trailer. So I plan to add springs to help lift, I plan to add angle iron in between the 3 gates on the rear to make one large gate. Then I plan to add the feet on the bottom so it doesn’t raise the truck. I may extend the gates as well but idk.

The deck over rocks once things are up their, way better than the last trailer, it just needs a little work to be more useful is all. It was built to haul tricycle tractors.

Place trailer tongue jacks on both ends of the back end ot the trailer. Once set on the ground, this will prevent the lift you are seeing on the tow vehicle.

Or, just a pair of jackstands, set them 2" lower than the trailer so that they don't get stuck under it.

I learned today that the 208-230 that’s at the barn works lol. A buddy was off today and came over to help get the gate issue resolved. That’s about what she’s gonna look like, angle on hand was larger than the gates so its spaced wider.

Now the gate feet and springs.

Mine is a lowboy but I still have close to 30" deck height because I have no dove tail.

I am going to extend the ramps. Actually I am considering 5' extra making it a bifold with spring assist on the fold attached to the trailer.
