Sounds high, SL103143 appears to be an oring and SL103119 appears to be some kind of plug or adapter.

Yes sir. The Custom WR Long 3rd function kit is offered for the 1525.

For installation, you'll need a power beyond adapter from Massey/Agco, which will need to be sourced from a dealer.
Part #s SL103119 and SL103143. They should be inexpensive.

I'm picking up these parts this weekend in anticipation of ordering my 3rd function kit. Any reason why I couldn't install the parts now, or should I wait until I have the kit?

To my understanding, the parts are simply fittings which allow you to hook the 3rd function to the power beyond, so I don't think you'll need/want to install them prior to receiving the kit. Josh/Nelson at WR Long, I'm sure, can explain it better than me if you want to give them a ring. 252-823-4570

Turns out I can have the kit installed by a local dealer for about what I'd pay for parts. Hopefully, I'll get that done in the next week.

Leaves the choice of grapple. Whats recommended for mostly clearing brush/branches with my '06 MF1540 (type/size etc)...

I got the grapple hooked up, but still haven't got to use it. Supposedly my 3rd function valve is supposed to arrive at the dealer this week. So for now, all I can do it look at how nice it looks on the tractor. With a little luck, next Saturday I will get to see how it performs.
