Installed the quick adapter and hooked to the grapple today in between the rains. Everything lines up perfect and was very simple to install. It will be a few weeks before I can run the lines and start using my new toys as work keeps interfering with tractoring! Thanks again Travis for all your help!

I do not know how I missed this, but it's AWESOME!! You just turned your vintage Kioti into an extremely capable back saving tool.
Thanks for sharing!!
Travis

On the EA High HP grader clearing box blade:

- How much are replacement ripper shanks, plus shipping for one?
- They are 1" thick: How long, how wide and how many holes?
- What size are the holes?

EA High HP Grader BB: High Horsepower Grader Clearing Box Scraper, Box Blade for large category II & III tractors

Thanks!

I've only ever broken one shank/ripper, and that was on my 5' box blade (high quality one) with rippers all the way down and tearing at a huge root- dumb!

7' box blade (not from EA) on my NX5510 I have discovered that it'll load up with dirt/material very fast WITHOUT rippers: I can peel sod and have it rolling in sheets (then laying on top of the box blade-> more weight/force, more bite! If I drop the rippers I anchor the tractor! I have found that just tilting the box blade back and letting the weight (1,200lbs) and the cutting edge work is ample. Having an hydraulic top link is essential.

Sorry I forgot to mention: This isn't for a BB, EA or otherwise. I want to see if it's worth it to buy just one shank for a home made subsoiler/pipe/wire layer. I already have ~80% of the structure, so no need to buy a standalone subsoiler.

$85.00 for the shank.
Add $20 for shipping.
1" thick x 5" wide x 25" long overall.
It weighs 32 pounds unboxed.
Three 1" holes.

Here's a peek...

I finally found time to finish running the lines for the new grapple! Everything works perfect and no leaks!

From sitting on the tractor!

Then my Wife asked "Why in the world did you want that thing?" So I showed her that I could now pick up my stick!

She said "That's all it does?" I said "Well, no! Now that all the work is done, I can play a little Tractor Ball!" She said, "What's Tractor Ball?" So I showed her!

But after playing Tractor Ball, I had to inform her that I needed a new tractor because mine is just a little short to reach the goal! Not sure she agrees with me.

Hey Travis, looking at y'all's 8' land plane. Running any specials?

Btw you're grapple is one of the greatest investments I've ever done. It's helped me move brush, trash, fence posts, destroy buildings, load dump trailers (with the building materials)! It has definitely seen a lot of use.

Actually got another project coming up for it at my in laws.

Anyway, let me know about the land leveler. Been so impressed with the build quality of the grapple and your rear blade that Im sure the attention to detail is the same on your plane.

Thanks!

Nice work on the hydraulic lines. Your new tractor justification attempt was totally thinking outside the box!

A little short... Maybe it's the shoes!

Thanks for the great words about your Wicked Grapple. It's definitely our Pride & Joy!!
I do not see specials coming up because sales are stronger than ever due to our high standard of quality and factory direct prices!
I think the word is really getting out.

Our Xtreme Land Planes are definitely special, though; more than the website depicts, no doubt!
I'll be glad to let one lined up for you. Lead times have been an impressive 2 weeks or less as of late!!
Travis
