Snow Equipment Owning/Operating Erskine vs Virtau

Anyone know anything about this company's rearpull snowthrower, particularly how it compares to the comparable Erskine?

This rig isn't just comparable to an Erskine - it IS an Erskine. Look at the pictures and compare them to pics of the rear pull at the Erskine website - the're all the same pics, right down to the closeup of the chute rotator that's actually from a QA model, not a rear pull. I Googled VirTau - the domain registrar for their website is enom.com - a service that sets up web storefronts for buy-and-resell businesses. If they are just a customer, I doubt Erskine would agree to let VirTau use their advertising materials without attribution in reselling their products. Has an odd odor to it.

It has a double odor. Their website was flagged by google when I looked the other day as likely containing malware. They've changed hosting servers 6 times in 6 years, basically seem to move around a lot. Think I'll pass.
