Error message on display neutof

I was operating my 4320 last night for about an hour. The machine was working great with no problems. It is a power reverser. I stopped and went into reverse and the motor died. The display read "neutof". When I put the shifter into neutral the display message goes away and the hour meter is shown. I can start the engine fine, but it will die when I put it into forward or reverse. Also, I can start the engine, engage the rear PTO, and stand up out of the seat with out the engine dieing. I want to think it has something to do with the seat switch but I am not sure and need so help. My tractor is stranded in the middle of the road and I need to be able to move it. Any sound advice would sure be helpful right now.

Call your dealer immediately...

I'm going to guess it's your neutral safety switch gone bad. If you have a service manual (or some other TBNer is nice enough to respond), you may be able to locate the switch and test it.

If the tractor is really setting on a road and you can get it in neutral (reverser, gear and range selectors all in neutral), you should be able to tow it if you have a truck or SUV. You will want someone on the tractor to operate the brakes.

BTW, Welcome to TBN...just sorry it's off to a bad start with your 4320...
